Ultra-Sensitive Preamp-Stage Input Circuitry
Some audio products do not put out enough voltage to drive an amplifier adequately.
Earthquake amps have increased sensitivity so they have more output with less input.
This new circuitry lets you drive the amp to full output with inputs as low as 60
millivolts.
Auto Sensing Circuitry
The PA-600 is so sensitive that it comes on when a signal reaches it, and it automatically
falls asleep when the music stops. While in sleep mode, the amplifier consumes less
energy than typical amplifiers used in professional applications.
The PA-600 Can Be Switched into High-Power Mono Mode
If speakers need more power, the PA-600 can meet that need. Its Stereo/Mono switch can
connect the two channels together to create a single high-power channel (switching the
amp to bridged-mono mode). This feature can be especially useful when the amplifier is
driving one (or even two) Thor in-wall subwoofers or other subwoofers.
The PA-600 employs a design that ensures high sound quality and efficiency. It has been
planned down to the finest details for full accomplishment of both high-definition sound
and a shining value.

The Choice of Professionals
The PA-600 is a durable high-quality professional amplifier. It is designed to mount into
a standard 19-inch rack, requiring only two rack spaces (3.5 inches, vertically). Two
automatic variable-speed internal cooling fans use the sides, rear, and front of the
amplifier not the top and bottom for air intake and exhaust, allowing you to stack
multiple amplifiers, closer together in a rack-mount situation.
The PA-600 produces up to 110 watts per channel into 8 ohms (stereo mode) and 380
watts into 8 ohms (bridged mono mode).
Earthquake has included pro-audio features in the PA-600 such as ¼-inch and XLR
input jacks for electronically balanced low- or medium-impedance operations. In
addition, limiting circuitry with LED indicators constantly monitors the output level of
each channel; which provides protection from clipping, thus preventing the generation
of speaker-damaging square waves. A built-in protection circuit protects the amplifier
from overloads, short circuits, and overheating for those who love their music
consistently loud for several hours at a time.
